Mark Chamberlain
Mark Chamberlain is the President and one of the founding
partners in Trivaris. Mark is an accomplished and proven
entrepreneur/business executive that specializes in
transforming nascent ideas from concepts to sustainable
companies. Mark is best known for his time at Wescam. Under
his leadership, Wescam became a public company trading on
the TSX in 1995, made several acquisitions, and established
it as a leader in visual information systems markets around
the world. As a result, the company grew from a 17-person
organization located in Canada with revenue less than $1
million, to a 550-person company with six facilities located
throughout North America and revenue of $166 million. In
2002, L-# Communications acquired the organization. After a
year of transition, Mark retired from Wescam in 2003. He
holds a bachelor of Applied Science degree and a Masters of
Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Waterloo.
John Manley
John Manley has held several senior portfolios in the
Canadian federal government and has been recognized for his
success in forging powerful cross-border partnerships and
for his global initiatives in technology, education and
business. He was first selected to Parliament in 1988 and
has since held various positions, including Minister of
Foreign Affairs. In 2002, he was appointed Deputy Prime
Minister of Canada, Political Minister for Ontario and
Chairman of the Cabinet Committees on Economic Union and
Social Union. He became Finance Minister in June 2002 and
tabled the Government’s federal budget in February 2003.
After leaving the federal Cabinet, Mr. Manley provides
strategic advice in matters relating to the public sector
and has recently been assigned co-chair to a new task force
to examine North American integration since NAFTA under the
Council on Foreign Relations.
